Christopher Shawn Redfox II is a marathon runner, Yup'ik native, and inspiration to all of Alaska. Chris lost his brother in a tragic accident on January 23, 2010 on the Nenana Parks Highway. He inspiringly picked up the pieces and set out to run a marathon in each of America's 50 states in remembrance of his brother, Jerel Jacob Redfox. His hometown of Mountain Village created this website not only to support him on his heart-felt endeavor, but to share his story with the world. Redfox has become an inspiration to native youth across Alaska, opening up opportunities and showing them that they can achieve their dreams. He has set a goal and with dedication is achieving it.
